Description

Lions, join us as we leap into action for the 2014 Lion of Judah Local Mission on April 27, 2014. Along with other passionate and dedicated Lion of Judah* women, you will have the opportunity to experience the impact of your Jewish Federation support through an engaging day of service and mitzvot.

Our local mission will begin with a tour of Jewish Family Service's Polack Food Bank where we will help package food for those in need. Then, onto The Summit where we will eat lunch, learn more about the important work of the Kline Galland and spend some valuable time with Summit residents. In honor of Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), we will conclude our day with the Washington State Holocaust Education Resource Center. We will have the opportunity to see the expansive space for our community's new Holocaust and Human Rights Center and participate in an interactive exhibit to commemorate the day.

Our day will begin and end at Jewish Family Service, where parking will be provided. A private coach will take us on our journey around the city.
